Shamrock Mint Chip Smoothie

Raise your hand if you love mint!

Mint is a key herb for your digestion as it helps to reduces gas and bloating. It's also been shown to be helpful for relieving symptoms of pain and discomfort in IBS by reducing muscle spasms and relaxing the muscles of the GI tract.

Mint tea is the easiest form to keep on hand for relieving indigestion, but you can also steep about 15 fresh mint eaves in hot water for a homemade tea. If you’re worried about your fresh mint going bad, you can freeze or dry it for later use.

In regular cooking, mint pesto is another way to use mint. We can't forget about mojitos either, right?

P.S. We have 5 more home remedies for indigestion (that you likely have on hand already) which you can read here.
