Breakfast Patties

This recipe is part of a collection of 3 unique make ahead breakfast recipes to add to your meal prep. This is for those of you that feel better with a higher protein, low carb breakfast that is still easy. It's also keto-friendly, paleo and can be paired with eggs or some avocado. You can also make extra and use them on salads. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 tsps dried ground sage
  • 2 tsps dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground pepper
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients, except the coconut oil in a bowl.
  2. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add coconut oil to the pan.
  3. Form into patties and fry for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  4. Cook all at once and just reheat them in the microwave for a minute or on the stove when ready to eat.
