About HEAL Wellness:

HEAL Wellness is a Canadian-based small business whose mission is to help educate and empower people to feel healthier and happier. We’re looking for a bright, motivated person to help us do so!

This role blends corporate wellness program management with inbound marketing and is perfect for someone with a background in health & wellness (nutrition, naturopathy, health coaching, etc.) and strong marketing/project management experience. You’ll oversee our wellness challenges and client programs, support content across nutrition, movement, and mental health, and help drive the growth of our inbound leads.

We work with leading organizations across North America, including Unilever, Bauer Hockey, and Seaspan, delivering impactful wellness through our custom-built app, coaching, and digital programs.

About The Role:

The ideal candidate has operations & marketing experience and a health & wellness background, or passion!

We are looking for someone who is incredibly organized, able to juggle multiple tasks at once, detail-oriented, has a growth mindset and a health and wellness background, whether that’s as a nutritionist, naturopath, or health coach, etc. You don’t need to be practicing, but your knowledge will be helpful for the role.

Your role will cover corporate wellness program management, from creation to execution, to follow up for our clients. It will also include marketing with a focus on inbound lead generation growth. 

This is an entrepreneurial position so we want you to bring your ideas to the table. Your opinion matters and we want you to be excited about growing HEAL and making more people healthier and happier.

This is a full time, virtual role.

How You’ll Make An Impact:

As we are a small team, you will be juggling lots of different tasks and no two days will look the same. Here are some of the primary tasks.

Operations (Wellness Program) Management

1. Managing the details of the corporate Wellness Challenge program, including:
   • Liaising with the client via phone and email
   • Creating promotional materials and presentations in Canva for our programs 
   • Managing the wellness content creation, leveraging the back end of the wellness platform app including the creation of wellness challenges and programs
   • Writing wellness program content across nutrition, movement and mental health
   • Handling participant questions and recapping participant feedback
2. Managing the content and scheduling for our newsletter and app content using Active Campaign, Sendgrid and Canva.

Marketing:

1. Leading our marketing with the goal of increasing inbound leads
   • Including managing website updates with our developers
   • Including creating content for our target audiences
2. Managing and optimizing our advertising with our Google ads agency

Job Requirements:

• Post-secondary education
• 5+ years of similar work experience
• Technically adept. We use the following:some text
  • Google Drive and Dropbox
  • Asana
  • Canva
  • Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Our own custom-built app
• Trained in natural health and wellness, whether as a Holistic Nutritionist, or a Health Coach, a Naturopath, or someone with similar qualifications (dietetics, nutrition and/or holistic health disciplines).
