Every once in a while, my random kitchen experiments turn into absolute gems! Case in point with this recipe that I’m excited to share!
If you follow along on Instagram you would have seen this last week, but for those on the good ol’ traditional internet, here it is. 🙂
About This Salad:
- I substituted what would be a grain of sort (quinoa, brown rice) for cauliflower rice. I’ll explain how I made it below.
- This salad contains simple flavouring, which means if it is tasting at all bland to you, just increase the flavour (lemon, dill, salt, pepper)! I ended up with twice the dill on there than what I started with.
- The roasted yams are optional, but add awesome colour and make it a bit more filling too!
- This salad is on the list of detox foods because of the greens, lemon juice and of course the cauliflower that contains something called “Indole 3 Carbinol” – excellent for supporting your liver!
