When Life Gives You Lemons…

…Make Warm Lemon Water

The other day someone asked me if I could recommend ONE thing to make her healthier, what would it be?  I proceeded to blab for a good five minutes about 15 different things, and didn’t really answer the question.  Since I’ve already told you about my Smoothie Ritual, one habit that I think is an EASY and AWESOME addition to your daily routine is drinking a big glass of warm lemon water upon rising every morning.  Here’s why:

  1. Maximizes the function of enzymes found in your liver, which is your main detoxifying organ, therefore helping detoxify your body.
  2. Helps stimulate digestion and keep things moving so your body can eliminate toxins.
